Segundo Keith Moore, “a gastrulação é o processo formativo pelo qual as três camadas germinativas, que são precursoras de todos os tecidos embrionários, e a orientação axial são estabelecidas”. Dessa forma, será neste período que o disco embrionário bilaminar transformar-se-á em um disco embrionário trilaminar, ocorrendo inúmera mudanças morfológicas, rearranjo movimentos das células e mudanças nas propriedades adesivas, contribuindo para o processo de gastrulação. Neste período, o embrião também pode ser chamado de gástrula.<o:p></o:p></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;">A espermatogênese refere-se ao desenvolvimento e maturação do gameta masculino, o espermatozóide. A primeira preparação histológica do assunto é o Testículo de Rato, corado com HE (eosina/hematoxilina). Nesta preparação, estão evidenciados os inúmeros túbulos seminíferos, local onde ocorre o processo de desenvolvimento do espermatozóide.</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;">O primeiro objetivo da preparação é a Albugínea Testicular ou Túnica Albugínea, localizada na região periférica do corte histológico, sendo a mesma um Tecido Conjuntivo Denso modelado, revestindo-o. No interior, encontramos o tecido conjuntivo frouxo, altamente vascularizado onde encontramos as Células de Leydig, cuja função é a produção de testosterona.</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;">O túbulo seminífero é constituído por uma lâmina basal e, em contato com ele, encontramos duas células: as espermatogônias e as células de Sertoli. As células de Sertoli promovem uma barreira (barreira hemato-testicular), protegendo o gameta masculino de atividades e reações auto-imunes. Tal célula também é responsável pela nutrição e suporte dos gametas. Na preparação, avistamos apenas seu núcleo, cuja morfologia aparenta a forma triangular ou de meia-lua. Podemos também reparar no nucléolo da Célula de Sertoli.</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;">As espermatogônias (diplóides) são as células germinativas primordiais e, a partir do seu desenvolvimento, formará o espermatozóide (célula altamente especializada). Elas caracterizam-se por estar corado de forma intensa pela hematoxilina (por ser basófila). As espermatogônias sofrem mitose, originando os espermatócitos I (ainda diplóide), logo acima dela, sendo estas coradas menos intensas e, morfologicamente, maiores que as espermatogônias. Esta célula, por sua vez, sofrerá meiose I, originando os espermatócitos II (células haplóides), localizada acima dos espermatócitos I.</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;">Por fim, os espermatócitos II sofrem a meiose II, tornando-se as espermátides (encontradas acima das demais células, mais na região central do túbulo seminífero).
